Description:

Join a dedicated healthcare fiscal team where patient care is supported by financial excellence. As a Financial Analyst, you will be a key contributor to the organization’s financial health, specifically focusing on reimbursement, net revenue, and productivity.

You will be responsible for the integrity of complex financial records, including DSH programs and annual Cost Reports, while providing the data-driven insights necessary for strategic projections. This role offers a collaborative environment where you will partner directly with Revenue Integrity and Decision Support teams to drive fiscal innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Reimbursement & Compliance: Compile and maintain critical records for hospital DSH programs, bad debt logs, and annual Cost Reports to ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Revenue Analysis: Support the management of Accounts Receivable Contractual Allowances and monitor overall net revenue and productivity efforts.

  • Data Modeling: Create and execute detailed patient-level reports to perform advanced data analytics, with a focus on financial impacts and long-term projections.

  • Strategic Support: Partner with the Manager of Revenue Integrity and Senior Financial Analysts on high-priority ad hoc projects and fiscal planning initiatives.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies in data collection and reporting to enhance the accuracy of financial forecasts.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of Finance or Accounting experience within a Hospital or Health System environment.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (with relevant professional experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial reporting software and data visualization tools; strong ability to translate clinical data into financial insights.
