As part of our Revenue Management team, you will play an integral role in ensuring alignment between customer contract terms, pricing programs, rebate agreements, collections, and overall account profitability. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing customer financial performance, identifying risks to revenue and margin, and ensuring contractual commitments are accurately reflected in billing, rebate, and collection activities.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted business partner to senior sales leaders and key customer stakeholders, helping to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive profitable growth. You will review customer agreements, monitor financial performance against contract expectations, validate rebate and pricing programs, and provide meaningful reporting on account health and key performance indicators.
As a Financial Analyst specializing in customer profitability and contract performance, you will collaborate closely with National Accounts, Sales Leadership, Accounts Receivable and Revenue Management teams. You will support some of Bunzls largest strategic customer relationships by ensuring contract compliance, analyzing financial results, and identifying opportunities to improve profitability, reduce revenue leakage, and strengthen customer partnerships.
The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a passion for solving complex problems. Success in this role requires the ability to communicate financial insights clearly to both internal leaders and external customer stakeholders while supporting strategic business decisions through data-driven analysis.
This is an onsite, day-shift role based in one of our Eastern or Central Bunzl HUB locations* (listed below). There is some flexibility to work from home a few days per month if needed.

Responsibilities:
- Build, audit, and maintain reports supporting National Accounts, Revenue Management, Accounts Receivable, collections, and customer contract performance.
- Review customer contracts, pricing agreements, rebate programs, and service commitments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze customer profitability, revenue trends, rebate activity, payment behavior, and collection performance.
- Develop dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting that provide actionable insights to sales leadership and customer stakeholders.
- Partner with senior sales leadership to evaluate large customer relationships and identify opportunities to improve revenue, margin, and account performance.
- Monitor contract performance and identify revenue leakage, billing discrepancies, pricing variances, or missed rebate opportunities.
- Support monthly and quarterly business reviews with financial analysis and performance reporting.
- Collaborate with Accounts Receivable and collections teams to analyze aging trends, payment patterns, and cash collection opportunities.
- Investigate financial variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Prepare ad hoc reporting and financial analyses for strategic customer initiatives and leadership requests.
- Communicate key findings, risks, and opportunities to internal leadership and external customer contacts.
- Develop financial models and business cases to support customer renewals, pricing reviews, and contract negotiations.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and financial controls.
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree required, ideally in business or related discipline.
- 4+ years in business, finance, data analytics, or financial reporting/forecasting experience.
- MS Office proficiency and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI strongly preferred; AS400, SQL, and Copilot a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new analytical tools and software.
- Highest standards for accuracy and precision; must be highly organized.
- Strong analytical and project management skills with ability to prioritize and respond quickly in a dynamic environment.

- Bunzl target salary range for this role is $60,000-$90,000 based on education, experience and location.
