Kforce has a client that is seeking a Financial Analyst in Saint Louis, MO. Summary: This role partners closely with leadership and operational teams to deliver meaningful insights through financial analysis, reporting, and data-driven decision support. The position offers strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and performance reporting across multiple dimensions of the business. Key Responsibilities:
  • Support annual planning and ongoing forecasting activities, including workforce planning, revenue modeling, and expense analysis
  • Assist with compensation and performance analytics, incorporating trend analysis, benchmarking, and key performance indicators
  • Analyze profitability and performance across clients, engagements, practice areas, and individual contributors, including metrics related to utilization, realization, leverage, and pricing effectiveness
  • Design, maintain, and enhance recurring management reports and dashboards that highlight financial and operational drivers
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis and customized reporting in response to leadership and stakeholder requests
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity of data across all financial outputs
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights
  • Collaborate with operational and practice-level stakeholders to understand business needs and tailor analyses accordingly
  • Proactively recommend improvements to reporting methodologies, processes, and data usage
  • Extract, validate, and analyze data from financial, operational, and practice management systems
  • Support integrations and data flows between financial systems, time and billing platforms, and reporting tools
  • Document reporting methodologies, assumptions, and logic to support scalability and continuity
  • Contribute to special projects and other finance initiatives as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role
  • Advanced Excel skills; Experience with business intelligence or data visualization tools a plus
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize data into clear, concise insights
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Effective communicator capable of presenting findings to both finance and non-finance audiences
  • Exposure to professional services environments preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
