The Associate Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting monthly accounting activities, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end closing processes. This position supports Senior Financial Analysts in preparing financial statements and provides management with accurate and timely financial information in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and corporate financial guidelines.
Responsibilities
Support the preparation and monthly reporting of financial statements submitted to Corporate.
Execute month-end closing activities, including preparation and posting of journal entries for:
Fixed entries
Amortizations
Accruals
Reclassifications
Adjustments
Perform Inventory Reserve and Accounts Receivable Reserve analyses.
Perform expense reporting analysis, TCGM reporting, and other activities related to monthly closing.
Analyze and reconcile Balance Sheet accounts monthly and investigate and adjust variances as necessary.
Ensure all posted journal entries are complete, signed, and properly approved each month.
Monitor daily cash movements and provide the Credit Department with information regarding incoming transfers.
Identify cash increases or decreases not processed through the Events Processing module.
Prepare Area and Division financial reports within established deadlines.
Perform monthly DSO and DOH analysis and publish results.
Perform monthly analysis of professional services withholding (3% and 7%) and support annual return preparation.
Prepare D.22.0 and TCGM quarterly reporting.
Provide financial and accounting support to Commercial Divisions, including PPD, ADD, ADC, AN, AV, EPD, and Caribbean operations.
Complete monthly data entry of inventory receiving reports.
Prepare check requests for monthly payroll tax payments.
Complete monthly fixed asset data entry.
Perform other accounting and financial reporting activities as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Up to 2 years of Accounting Cycle experience.
Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Demand Planning and Planning activities.
Experience supporting forecasting, inventory planning, or related business planning processes is preferred.
