Lipari Foods is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst- Supply Chain to support financial planning, cost analysis, and operational efficiency within the supply chain. This entry-level role will assist in analyzing data related to procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution to help drive cost savings and improve overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze supply chain costs including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and inventory holding
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for supply chain operations
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, cost per unit, and service levels
- Support month-end and quarter-end financial reporting processes
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to align financial goals
- Prepare financial models and variance analyses
- Maintain and update financial and operational databases
- Assist in pricing analysis and supplier cost evaluations
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic modeling)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus
- Basic understanding of supply chain processes and financial principles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques
- Understanding of inventory management and logistics concepts
