    How you'll make an impact:
    • Demonstrate proficiency at collection of required data and materials needed for the successful completion of various projects at direction and under supervision of team leaders.
    • Analyzing data from carriers on clients, and provide recommendations to account management teams or to clients, in order to effectively negotiate rates and funding levels.
    • Preparing, analyzing and consulting on various client deliverables, as defined by the scope of services of the Financial Benefits Consulting team.
    • Demonstrate understanding of whether or not analysis “makes sense”; can think beyond the numbers on the page
    • Maintain workflow tracking application or logs, as established by management and departmental guidelines and protocol.
    • Competently and independently review contract documents such as SPDs, administrative agreements, claim exclusions and limitations, etc. in order to determine impact on financial reports.
    • Actively participate in and utilize the peer review process, per departmental guidelines.
    • Conduct any activity for special assignments as assigned by management.
    • Coordinate with and be able to adapt to differences in carriers' underwriting and report teams with regards to managing the planning, timelines, formatting, etc. related to data needed in order to complete requested reports / projects.
    • In conjunction with the GSC Financial Benefits Consulting and the Client Teams, responsible for assisting with collecting data and preparing reports, to demonstrate financial status for identified clients.
    About you:

    Required: Bachelor's degree and 0 years related experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.

    Preferred: 

    • Ability to communicate effectively in a fast paced work environment
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Able to take direction from others

     

    Technical Skills

    • Must show competency with Microsoft Office, and be able to work in a Windows environment
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills – Effectively write and use some formulas
    • Must be able to prioritize tasks and to multi-task effectively

     

    Interpersonal Skills

    • Ability to communicate effectively in fast pace work environment
    • Excellent communication skills (both orally and in writing)
    • Must be able to persuade others to provide items needed to complete this job within pre-established timeframes
    • Support corporate, region and/or sub-region initiatives
    • Ability to negotiate and effectively communicate to manage expectations
    • Initiative to continue growing personally and professionally as our industry changes and business need changes
    • Must demonstrate ability to work professionally as a team member in a group with diverse backgrounds
    • Must have initiative and be properly assertive in presenting new ideas
    • Participate and assist with regularly scheduled Financial Benefits Consulting Team meetings and Champion calls hosted by Director of Financial Benefits Consulting
    • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all external and internal partners  by demonstrating customer focus and work ethic, thereby establishing an environment of trust and reliability
    • Provide assistance as needed to any member of the Financial Benefits Consulting team or to any branch location to the extent possible including on site client meetings
    • Effectively navigate through conflict
