Role Summary
We are seeking a Financial and Regulatory Reporting Analyst to support critical reporting functions and provide analytical insight to senior accounting leadership. This role plays an important part in ensuring accurate regulatory filings, maintaining compliance, and supporting both SEC and tax related reporting activities.
The Analyst will work closely with leadership to prepare filings, analyze variances, and strengthen reporting processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to identifying discrepancies and improving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings
Prepare and support state regulatory filings for leadership review
Compile, validate, and reconcile data between general ledger and regulatory reports
Analyze variances and conduct research to resolve discrepancies
Monitor reporting deadlines to ensure timely and accurate submission
Support audit requests and maintain documentation for compliance activities
Coordinate and assist with tax filings in partnership with external providers
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency
Key Requirements
2 to 3 years of financial reporting, SEC reporting, or tax experience
Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze and manipulate data efficiently
Experience with financial reporting, regulatory filings, or tax compliance
Understanding of general ledger reconciliations and variance analysis
Knowledge of regulatory standards, audit processes, or compliance frameworks
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a hybrid environment
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
