Job Summary

Somerset Community College invites applications for a Financial Assistant III position.

Job Duties:

Duties may include, but are not limited to: serving as Cashier including collection and posting of tuition utilizing PeopleSoft application; processing daily deposits; processing and resolving issues with student accounts; ensuring compliance with college cash handling procedures; assisting with third party sponsored accounts and student receivables; managing college inventory, including annual audits and surplus sales; managing college vehicle reservations; and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate''s degree from a regionally accredited college or university and two years related experience or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to candidates with at least two years of a current, strong, demonstrated background in cash handling/management and customer service.
