The Financial/Bookkeeper will be responsible for overseeing financial documentation, bookkeeping and audit preparation specifically related to the Special Needs Scholarship Program (SNSP). This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting or bookkeeping experience, familiarity with nonprofit or school finance practices, and a desire to contribute meaning fully to Catholic education.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up to date financial records related to SNSP program.
- Prepare and organize documentation for annual audits and program reviews
- Track SNSP income and expenditures, ensuring alignment with program requirements
- Process all accounts payable for the school.
- Collaborate with school administration to ensure proper financial reporting and compliance
- Assist with budget preparation and variance tracking specific to SNSP program
- Generate reports for state submissions and internal review
- Ensure financial practices meet all DPI (Department of Public Instruction) regulations for SNSP
- Communicate with external auditors and state agencies as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Position Status:
This position is part-time (16 hours weekly), hourly, non-exempt. Anticipated start date is August 2026.
