The Role 

We have a great opportunity for a finance professional to join our growing Finance Team. Reporting to the CFO, this is a great role for someone who would like to remain hands on day to day but also play a strategic role in ensuring the company continues to grow year on year.  You will be qualified and bring some previous experience in a SME context. 

Key responsibilities

  • Overall management of accounting operations for US entity.  
  • Consolidation of financials for group P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow – reporting to Shareholders 45 days post quarter end. 
  • Management of payroll, expenses, cash book, purchase ledger, sales ledger and tax
  • Provide weekly TWCF forecasts. 
  • Oversee the management of cash flow and debt collection. 
  • Oversee management of procurement processes. 
  • Oversee the customer invoicing processes.  
  • Develop and work with our outsourced shared service centre to improve efficiencies.   
  • Management of compliance processes & procedures 
  • Work closely with the CFO and the wider Finance Team on special projects including scale up and development of the ERP / MRP / Reporting systems.  
  • Act as key contact for our service providers. 
  • Supervision and management of direct reports   

Ideally, you'll have/be:  

  • Qualified CPA.  
  • Experience SME and Corporate environments – fast moving, within engineering, software or professional service sectors. 
  • Excellent doer who can make things happen; with strong attention to detail 
  • Stakeholder management and communication skills 
  • Expert user of Excel; experienced user of MS Suite applications 
  • Resilient and tenacious; comfortable working to deadlines 
  • Previous experience of managing a small team would also be beneficial for this role
