Job Details
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle accounting across GL, AP, AR, payroll and fixed assets
- Lead monthly, quarterly and year-end close and financial reporting
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and monthly variance/performance analysis
- Maintain internal controls, accounting policies and regulatory compliance
- Oversee ERP/accounting systems and drive process improvement and automation
- Lead, mentor and develop the accounting team
- Coordinate tax, audit and outside CPA matters
- Partner with leadership on financial reporting, planning and business decisions
Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive accounting experience,5+ years in a Controller or similar leadership role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Strong GAAP, financial reporting and full-cycle accounting background
- Experience owning month-end/year-end close and financial statements
- Proven accounting team leadership experience
- Strong ERP/accounting systems experience and advanced Excel skills
- Budgeting, forecasting, internal controls and process improvement experience
- ESOP / employee-owned company and 401(k) reporting experience preferred
- Multi-location or multi-entity accounting experience strongly preferred
