Known for its ability to handle challenging, time-sensitive projects, the team supports clients across industries by planning, lifting, transporting, and installing large-scale assets with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and cost optimization.

We are growing and looking for a Financial Controller who can transition into the CFO role within the next 9-18 months!

Job Details

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all accounting operations (GL, AP/AR, payroll, cash)
  • Deliver accurate monthly financials within 10 business days
  • Maintain clean balance sheet reconciliations and audit-ready books
  • Oversee billing, collections, and transaction accuracy
  • Enforce internal controls, cash discipline, and process standardization
  • Identify inefficiencies and drive automation/improvements
  • Ensure accurate job costing, margin visibility, and cost allocation
  • Partner with operations on revenue recognition and profitability
  • Improve DSO, billing speed, and cash conversion cycle
  • Build/own 13-week cash flow forecasting
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting
  • Support EBITDA normalization and financial clarity
  • Clean, audit-ready financials with minimal adjustments
  • Consistent, timely close (10 days or better)
  • Improved cash flow, billing, and collections
  • Clear KPI visibility and job-level profitability
  • Business ready for institutional diligence

Qualifications
  • 8–12+ years in accounting/finance (Controller-level)
  • Multi-entity experience ($50M–$150M preferred)
  • Strong in job costing environments (construction, logistics, manufacturing, etc.)
  • Experience improving processes, controls, and systems
  • ERP experience (NetSuite, Dynamics, etc.)

Nice to Have: CPA, MBA, or transaction/QoE exposure
