    Responsibilities Hanover Hill Behavioral Health, located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, will combine two leaders in health care, in the partnership of Universal Health Services & Lehigh Valley Health Network starting in late fall 2025. This brand new 144-bed free standing behavioral health facility will offer the community high-quality behavioral health care services for seniors, adults and adolescents. Hanover Hill is seeking an experienced Financial Counselor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team while working in a state-of-the-art facility, including EPIC. The Financial Counselor is responsible to verify primary and secondary insurance coverage for the patients of Hanover Hill Behavioral Health. The Financial Counselor notifies all relevant parties and explains insurance benefits. The Financial Counselor reviews insurance certification letters and ensures authorization numbers are entered on patient accounts prior to billing. Qualifications High School Diploma, or equivalent, is required, and Associate's Degree is preferred. 1-2 years of relevant experience is required, and 3-4 years of relevant experience is preferred. Experience in admission process and insurance verification procedures, and a working knowledge of managed care; interpretation of insurance coverage plans, co-payments and deductible schedules and payment plans is preferred.
