Key Responsibilities:

  • Advisory & Influence: Partner closely with business leaders and the home office to address complex escalations, providing decisive guidance to identify and mitigate FCC-related risks.
  • Control Optimization: Dig deep into existing processes to design, enhance, and implement robust, streamlined FCC-related controls across the trade finance lifecycle.
  • Deep-Dive Investigations: Lead targeted, structured investigations into potential trade-based money laundering, trade fraud, and complex transactional anomalies.
  • Policy Ownership: Author, refine, and maintain comprehensive FCC-related trade finance policies and procedures to ensure alignment with both regional expectations and global standards.
  • Targeted Training: Design and deliver specialized, impactful FCC training programs tailored specifically to trade finance operations.
  • Global Collaboration: Coordinate structurally with Global FCC teams to align regional practices with global trade finance requirements and long-term strategic goals.
  • Structured Project Leadership: Spearhead key trade finance-related compliance projects, planning realistic timelines to drive initiatives from conception to sustainable execution.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5-7 years of compliance experience in AML and sanctions compliance, with a dedicated focus on trade finance products and services (including documentary letters of credit, standby letters of credit, and supply chain finance).
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with business lines to implement clear, streamlined AML, fraud, and sanctions processes.
  • Proven ability to act as a collaborative partner, manage a steady day-to-day workflow, and drive strategic projects to successful completion within a structured schedule.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and day-to-day pipeline management skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical reasoning, and investigative skills, with a passion for diagnosing and solving complex control challenges efficiently.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of seniority, both locally and internationally.
  • Deep technical understanding of trade finance products, services, and associated regulatory expectations.
  • Familiarity with leveraging innovative technology and advanced analytics tools to optimize and automate processes, reducing manual administrative burdens.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently, with a proven ability to manage a predictable workload, maintain focus, and deliver quality results within a balanced, sustainable environment.

The salary range for this position will be between $160,000 - $175,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
