The VISTA member will lead efforts to develop a trauma-informed financial empowerment program for survivors of domestic violence.
Duties will include researching financial literacy resources to identify topics for a 12-session curriculum. Consulting experts in banking and financial management to define class content. Developing surveys and feedback tools to evaluate program effectiveness. Creating facilitator guides and position descriptions. Identifying materials and resources needed for classes. Developing position descriptions and training for facilitators or volunteers. Researching potential funding sources to support long-term program sustainability.
