This position is located in the Air National Guard (ANG) Wing, Comptroller Flight. The purpose of this position is plan, coordinate, and perform comprehensive Accounting and Financial Management analysis, decision support and quality reviews, of base level accounting and financial management programs.

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:Enlisted members up to TSgt are eligible to apply. Required AFSC: 6F0X1. Military grade inversion within the full-time work force is not permitted. The military grade of the full-time supervisor must equal or exceed the military grade of personnel supervised.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
All personnel must be certified at the next higher level before being eligible for that level. Experiences gained through military technical training schools are included in the one-year on-the-job experience. Must have fundamental working experiences with a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade. The applicants educational degree study program or military or civilian academic courses may substitute for some specialized experience.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities (KSAs):
Statement of Difference: The incumbent selected will at least meet the experience and educational requirements for entry at GS-09 PD: NGD2514P01. A locally developed Individual Development Plan (IDP) will be established for the incumbent. This plan will be designed to provide the individual selected with the opportunity to gain the formal on-the-job training for the position. This allows the individual to gain the required knowledge, experience and skills required for promotion to the full operating level of the Financial Management Analyst at the GS-11 level. The Supervisor and Human Resources Office will be responsible for ensuring the incumbent is performing the full scope of duties and responsibilities listed within the statement of difference when working under normal supervisory controls prior to allowing the individual to be promoted.
Education
Education that may be substituted for some specialized experience:
Completed undergraduate or graduate education, the awarded college degree should be in one of, or a combination of the following disciplines: accounting, business, finance, economics, math, statistics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organizational management.Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
To receive credit for Education, you must provide transcripts or other documentation of proof to support your Educational claims.

Military Technicians are ineligible for military enlistment, retention, and student loan repayment bonuses. Acceptance of a Technician position over 180 days will result in suspension or termination of these military incentives.
