What we need…The Financial Management Specialist is primarily responsible for financial systems implementations and upgrades. This individual will assist in providing support for advanced system issues and the continual troubleshooting, upgrading and enhancements of COCC's financial systems for our banking clients. This person will maintain an in-depth knowledge of COCC's financial applications and functions as a subject matter expert in one or more areas of the applications. Gather and review data necessary to understand functional and technical requirements as they apply to system implementations and support bank accounting functions, customer support, data conversions and core general ledger interface work.Assist with data conversions and travel periodically to support client conversions and implementations.Analyze client's business practices while working to determine how they can be supported and enhanced by COCC's financial applicationsConduct client meetings with all levels of staff and management, including executive representationEducate clients on business process improvements that may increase efficiency through the use of COCC's technology solutionsSupport the setup, testing and troubleshooting of core GL interface builds.Perform and support various account reconciliationsHandle a high volume of calls while keeping other projects on track with their scheduled timelinesPerform training needs assessments, manage and contribute to the creation of training curriculums; Execute training programs for our clients and internal customersCreate requirements and test improved system functionality that meets the evolving business needs of our clients

What you'll bring…

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience3-5 years experience in banking with a focus on financial accounting, financial applications support, or a related operational accounting role.Experience with accounting software, such as Oracle Financials; INSIGHT experience a plusAptitude to learn new software applicationsExcellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain composure when dealing with dissatisfied customersCan adequately represent the entire organization while communicating system problems and/or deficiencies to customers while continuing to deliver superior customer servicePossess business knowledge and interpersonal skills needed to communicate effectively with senior management as well as the general user communityAbility to maintain a positive attitude, have ownership and be accountableAbility to learn quickly, adapt and remain flexible in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environmentAbility to understand system project methodologies and relational database structures and conceptsAbility to travel on occasion to client sites, 4-5 times per year

The salary range for this position is $56400-76400 annually
