A leading investment bank or advisory firm may seek a Financial Modeling Analyst to design, build, and maintain complex financial models, support valuations, and assist senior bankers with transaction execution. Build and maintain financial models, including 3-statement models, DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution, and sensitivity analyses.
Conduct valuation analyses and scenario testing to support M&A, capital markets, and restructuring transactions.
Perform industry and company research, benchmarking, and financial statement analysis.
Prepare pitch books, investment memoranda, and client presentations.
Assist with due diligence, data room review, and transaction execution.
Collaborate with senior bankers, associates, and clients to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
Provide quantitative support for decision-making and strategic recommendations.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and quantitative analysis.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Prior internship or full-time experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or consulting is advantageous.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research platforms.
