Our mission is to create real earning opportunities and verified credibility for serious private capital professionals. Once verified, analysts are immediately activated on live deals across our network—no waiting, no cold applications.
Initio Sphere is seeking technically strong finance professionals to join the platform as Certified Financial Modeling Analysts.
This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors and are activated through our certification and verification process.
Once approved, Financial Modeling Analysts:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
Gain access to live deal flow requiring financial modeling support
Work directly with investors, fund managers, and operators on active transactions
Build a verified deal history and Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers:
Senior Financial Modeling Analyst · Lead Financial Modeling Analyst · Financial Modeling Analyst / Associate
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background:
Former investment banking, private equity, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of advanced modeling and transaction experience
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of hands-on financial modeling, valuation, or deal execution experience
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong Excel and financial modeling fundamentals
Financial Modeling Analysts are engaged only in modeling and valuation categories for which they are approved. Typical work includes:
3-statement operating models
Integrated cash flow and forecasting models
DCF and LBO models
Commercial real estate underwriting models
Project finance and investment return models
Sensitivity, scenario, and downside case analysis
Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
Football field and valuation summary materials
Model validation and assumption reviews
Scenario modeling for IC and investor presentations
Financial exhibits for investment memos
Data room modeling support during live transactions
Analysts may only perform work in approved modeling and valuation categories.
Approvals are earned through assessment results and demonstrated performance—not tenure.
Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved Initio Sphere training
Receive category-specific approvals (Financial Modeling, Valuation, Transaction Support)
Get verified on the platform
Begin earning immediately through hourly modeling projects and live deal work
No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.”
Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors.
To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:
Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training
Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Each analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Platform visibility
Approved modeling categories
Recommended hourly rates
Scores are based on assessment results, credentials, modeling quality, and client feedback.
Analysts operate as independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates vary by Rating Score and approval level
Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues
Financial Modeling Analysts do not:
Provide investment advice
Solicit securities
Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity
All work is limited to analytical, modeling, and financial support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
