About the Opportunity

TalentBridge is partnering with a leading financial services organization to hire a Financial Operations & Quality Control Analyst to support an established operations team during an exciting systems modernization initiative.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in financial operations, account processing, reporting, quality control, or data analysis who enjoy working with information, identifying discrepancies, solving problems, and improving processes.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, comfortable working independently in Excel, and brings a strong background in operational processing.

This is not a customer service or sales position. The role focuses on internal operations, reporting, quality control, and processing activities.

The initial assignment is expected to last at least six months, with strong potential for extension and possible consideration for permanent employment.

What You'll Do

• Support daily financial operations, account maintenance, and transaction processing activities.

• Review and process account documentation, requests, and operational records.

• Extract, organize, and analyze operational reports using Microsoft Excel.

• Review quality control (QC) reports to identify errors, discrepancies, missing information, and unusual activity.

• Investigate reporting inconsistencies and work toward accurate, timely resolutions.

• Maintain accuracy and compliance with established operational procedures.

• Assist with quality assurance and validation of processed information.

• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce errors, and increase operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure processing deadlines and quality standards are met.

• Learn multiple operational functions and provide support across different processing areas as business needs evolve.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience in operations, financial processing, back-office support, quality control, or a related operational environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with reports, sorting, filtering, organizing, and reviewing data.

• Experience reviewing reports, identifying discrepancies, and resolving data or processing issues.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and follow established procedures.

• Strong organizational skills and a dependable, consistent work history.

• Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and operational functions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in banking, financial services, wealth management, investment operations, or account servicing.

• Experience with quality control reporting, data validation, reconciliation, or operational analysis.

• Familiarity with financial account maintenance or advisory account processing.

• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements.

• Experience supporting financial systems or operational transformation projects.

• Financial industry licenses or certifications are a plus.

Advanced Excel programming, macros, and complex financial modeling are NOT required. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable using Excel independently to review, analyze, and manage operational data.

Work Arrangement

Candidates must be located in the St. Louis, Missouri area and available to work onsite during the initial training period. Following training, the position will transition to a hybrid schedule of three days onsite and two days remote per week.
