Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to support daily financial transaction processing and administrative operations. This position is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing cash transactions, maintaining financial records, performing reconciliations, and providing clerical support while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in Microsoft Excel, has strong data entry skills, and can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process daily incoming and outgoing cash transactions accurately and within established deadlines.
Record financial transaction data in appropriate systems and databases.
Complete clerical and administrative duties, including:
Data entry
Copying and scanning documents
Filing and report distribution
Mailing correspondence
Responding to emails and phone inquiries
Review financial transactions and identify potential fraud or financial risk, escalating concerns to management as appropriate.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of general ledger and banking data.
Maintain accurate financial records while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Support the department with additional administrative and operational tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Previous data entry experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to accurately process high-volume transactions.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience performing general ledger reconciliations.
Previous experience in finance, accounting, banking, or financial operations.
Administrative or clerical experience in an office environment.
