In this dynamic and entrepreneurial position, you will lead the development of our first client-facing Pharmacy FP&A role. Under the general supervision of the Associate Vice President of Finance, you will leverage your previous experience in Pharmacy/Healthcare to inform insights and recommendations to build a trusted partnership with Clearway Health client's (external) financial teams in order to evolve and grow client site P&L's as well as developing full financial analysis, invoicing, and monthly reporting. Your in-depth financial knowledge in the Pharmacy space, along with your consultative communication style, will lead you to create and develop positive, constructive, and supportive cross-functional relationships both internally and with our client's external Pharmacy and Management teams. Your ability to adapt to different internal and external peer styles and positions, comfort level in working independently, commitment to visiting customer sites to build credibility, and fast-paced nature to solve problems, will have a significant impact on our business and our client's businesses.

You will lead forecasting and reporting for each client assigned, while assisting with invoicing, budgeting and strategic analysis across Clearway Health. You will also conduct financial planning and analysis, complex modeling, profit and loss, budget, detailed forecasting and reporting efforts to ensure efficient and successful financial operations. You will build this function and provide critical input through reviewing and analyzing results, developing insightful suggestions for Executive Leadership (both internal and external), sourcing both growth initiatives and cost reductions, and informing company-wide strategic business decisions. You focus on what is important as it relates to revenue recognition in the Pharmacy space because of your first-hand experience working with a hospital or health system that focused on methodologies, data, financial impacts, , GAAP Principles, etc.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
  • You will partner with Clearway client's external financial, accounting and management teams to strengthen the Clearway brand and ensure accuracy for internal and external financial reporting.
  • You will perform analysis of client's financials which includes pharmacy revenue recognition methodologies and margin analysis.
  • Prepare, or assist other Clearway Health team members with, monthly invoice creation, analysis and processing.
  • Partner/advise internally with Clearway Corporate Strategy, Client Strategy and Client Development on Pro-forma development during sales process.
  • Build flexible financial models to support data-driven decisions.
  • Dissect complex business problems, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including client site leadership, operations, data analytics and Strategy team to provide analytics support, develop new analyses, and track results.
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis and reporting and follow up with appropriate stakeholders for further explanation of variances, as needed.
  • Support internal teams (Clearway Health Corp Strategy, Client Strategy, Industry Affairs, etc.) in tracking pharmacy specific and customer-wide trends, identify opportunities, provide financial recommendations and collaborate across all levels both internally and externally.
  • Architect financial commentary and documents to support key financial deliverables.
  • Identifies and evaluates opportunities for optimizing performance under contractual arrangements.
  • Evaluates potential and existing contracts for financial viability, strategic importance and opportunities.
  • Supports evaluation of opportunities that would impact future business and service lines.
  • You will travel up to 25% (primarily to domestic client sites).
  • Oversee special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Utilize Clearway's High-5 values as the basis for decision-making.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Business Management or Accounting preferred). MBA highly desired.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
  • NA

EXPERIENCE:
  • 8+ years financial/accounting experience is required. 6+ years for candidates with a Master's degree.
  • 2+ years of progressive experience with Pharmacy specific financials and revenue recognition is required.
  • Experience leading financial related projects within pharmacy, healthcare delivery system and/or health payer environment is required.
  • Understanding of 340B and impacts to Pharmacy and Hospital/Health System financials is required.
  • Experience with predictive analytics is preferred.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency using business intelligence tools such as Tableau and/or PowerBI is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Pharmacy specific financial reporting, modelling, and forecasting including Pharmacy specific revenue recognition methodologies.
  • Lead internal and external cross-functional teams to drive positive financial results for clients.
  • Self-directed and able to take initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Superior Excel knowledge as well as extensive experience using Infor or other ERP systems.
  • Skilled in determining needs, gathering, analyzing and presenting data to provide accurate and timely information for management's use.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to interact with all levels of personnel within and outside of the organization.
