Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

Kawasaki Robotics in Wixom, MI

Contract to direct hire, full comprehensive benefits package while on contract

$40-45/hr paid weekly, OT eligible while on contract


Position Summary

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business performance analysis within our robotics manufacturing organization. This role partners with finance, operations, and leadership teams to provide insights that drive operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Perform variance analysis and prepare monthly management reports.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, labor, and operational performance.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end reporting activities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of FP&A or financial analysis experience.
  • Expert-level Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Authorized to work in the US without any Visa sponsorship now or in the future


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, or robotics.
  • SAP experience strongly preferred.
  • SQL experience is a plus.
