We provide financial planning, personal financial advisory services and asset management for individuals, couples and families with a net worth ranging from $3 – $20 million. In addition, we offer strategic financial planning and endowment asset management services for boards of non-profit organizations.     About the Role: 

    \n

    To work closely with senior client advisors in all aspects related to financial planning for our clients. Primary responsibilities will be to assist in data gathering, financial plan input and development, meeting scheduling, preparation and follow-up.

    Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

    \n

    Client Relationship and Meeting Support

    \n
    • \n
    • Work with advisors on select group of clients to assess needs, goals and planning issues.
    • \n
    • Prepare for and attend client meetings, document notes and work with advisor to complete all necessary follow-ups and document in CRM.
    • \n
    • Coordinate the gathering of data from clients, attorneys, accountants and other professionals in anticipation of client meetings.
    • \n
    • Work with advisors to gather all client related data to build comprehensive financial plans by utilizing financial planning software and related tools.
    • \n
    • Coordinate the preparation of various client related reports for both internal and external use.
    • \n

    Support and Administration

    \n
    • \n
    • Manage and complete tasks/open items, actively follow-up with clients and external advisors while actively communicating with primary advisor on status.
    • \n
    • Document all client communication in CRM and assign tasks as necessary.
    • \n
    • Work with internal Client Service Team to complete and submit external account paperwork and follow through to completion.
    • \n
    • Coordinate the financial planning process for clients. Responsibilities include the organization and input of data into financial planning software or customized spreadsheets and performing quality control reviews of the data.
    • \n
    • Become subject matter expert of financial planning tools and software.
    • \n
    • Research client-specific issues.
    • \n
    \n

    Other Financial Planning Responsibilities

    \n
    • \n
    • Assist with a variety of financial planning related projects.
    • \n
    • Research financial planning topics and related issues, prepare summaries and present to the firm’s advisors.
    • \n
    \n

     

    \n

    Qualifications and Attributes: 

    \n
    • \n
    • Must obtain CFP® or other relevant IAR designation within 18 months of hire date.
    • \n
    • 5 years of financial planning experience required
    • \n
    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
    • \n
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
    • \n
    • Team player with excellent client service focus
    • \n
    • Strong written and communication skills
    • \n
    • Excellent organization and time management skills
    • \n
    • Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment
    • \n
