By creating programs and building strategic partnerships with residents and local stakeholders CL helps create pathways to opportunities in early education, economic mobility, youth development, community engagement, voting registration, healthy living, and resident leadership.
Position Description:
Reporting to the Community Life Senior Manager, the CL Financial Programs Coordinator (CLFPC) oversees the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program at New Franklin Park Apartments in Dorchester, providing financial coaching to FSS program participants and other residents interested in financial literacy and economic mobility support services both in-person and through virtual platforms. The CLFPC is responsible for outreach and recruit into the FSS Program to reach program enrollment and participation goals and focuses on helping participants reach financial benchmarks in five core areas: income and employment, credit and debt, savings, utilization of quality financial services, and asset development, focusing on helping participants optimize escrow funds toward financial security and asset development goals. In addition, the CLFPC will coordinate monthly/bi-monthly financial education workshops, including topics such as budgeting, employment, credit building, and homeownership.
