Venteon Finance is currently seeking a FINANCIAL REPORTING ANALYST for a long-time growing client in Southfield.
REQUIREMENTS for the Financial Reporting Analyst role
Bachelor s degree in Accounting
2+ years of related experience
CPA Designation preferred
Public Accounting firm experience
Exposure to SEC Registrants preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Financial Reporting Analyst role
Performs various tasks related to the consolidation of subsidiary financial statements
Assists in the preparation and timely submission of required SEC filings (8-Ks, 10-Ks and proxy) and supplemental reporting
Assists in researching accounting regulations and SEC disclosure requirements
Provides technical accounting consultation regarding US GAAP
Prepares various monthly internal reports
Handles accounting journal entries and financial analytics for various specialized areas
Reconciles assigned balance sheet accounts, prepares supporting work papers for the external audit
Other duties and special projects as assigned
