Job Summary (Accountant Financial Services, AZDOR):

- Provide backup support for administrative and financial operations within the Financial Services division.
- Ensure accuracy of financial data and facilitate essential banking and inventory processes.
- Process electronic funds transfers (EFT), stop payments, and warrants.
- Manage agency deposits and process invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with tracking and maintaining agency inventory.
- Utilize automated accounting and banking systems for record-keeping and administrative support.
- Analyze and disseminate financial data to uphold quality and accuracy.
- Leverage strong technical skills in Excel, Word, Notepad, and Gmail.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Apply analytical thinking and attention to detail in all financial tasks.
- Rely on prior experience in data entry and clerical accounting roles.
- Minimum education required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Experience with automated accounting/banking systems, interpreting complex financial data, Lean Management knowledge, and some college-level coursework in Accounting or Finance.
