Description
This position provides technical and professional-level support to the Revenue Division within the Finance Department. The successful candidate will have a working title of Revenue Analyst, Senior.
This role involves forecasting citywide sales tax revenue using various economic models and methods, conducting transaction privilege tax (TPT) analytics and research, monitoring revenue results, and reporting on outcomes. The position requires using financial models and databases to research and prepare recommendations, conducting independent research projects related to citywide initiatives and other revenue-based analyses, and researching statutes and other guiding principles to enhance forecasting methods. Additionally, this position entails attending training, conferences, and seminars to ensure the Town employs best practices and the most current financial philosophies related to revenue.

The advertised salary range provided covers the entire compensation spectrum for the position classification. The anticipated hiring range for this role is between $87,444.00 to $107,118.89 annually. Its essential to note that the actual salary offered will be determined based on several factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, training, and internal equity considerations.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field and 4 years of journey-level, related experience; or an equivalent combination of directly related education and experience. Master's degree preferred.
