Job Details

Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse caseload involving financial services, commercial litigation, creditor rights, and related business disputes.
Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery requests and responses, and appellate briefs as needed.
Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and arbitrations, and represent clients in court.
Develop litigation strategy in collaboration with partners and clients.
Conduct legal research and provide practical, business-focused advice to clients.
Manage cases from inception through resolution while maintaining strong client communication.
Collaborate with a highly experienced litigation team on complex legal matters.

Qualifications:

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the applicable state.
2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense, no-fault, personal injury defense, or civil litigation.
Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
Experience handling depositions, motion practice, and discovery.
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in transitioning into commercial and financial services litigation.
