Position Overview:
- Experienced Financial Services Recruiter for a contract assignment with one of our clients, a leading wealth management organization.
- The Recruiter will support a broad range of hiring needs across the client's corporate and financial services functions.
- This individual will partner closely with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition leadership to develop recruiting strategies, identify highly qualified candidates, and manage the hiring process from requisition intake through offer acceptance.
- Experience recruiting within banking, wealth management, investment management, asset management, insurance, fintech, or another regulated financial services environment.
- A consultative recruiter who can quickly understand a hiring manager's business needs, translate those needs into an effective sourcing strategy, and identify candidates who bring both the required skills and the right industry experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned professional and corporate positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, position requirements, and candidate profiles.
- Recruit across functions that may include: Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit, Banking and Financial Operations, Investment Operations, Client Services, Human Resources, Marketing, Legal, Technology, Cybersecurity, Data and Analytics, Project and Program Management
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for specialized and hard-to-fill positions.
- Proactively source active and passive candidates using LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, databases, job boards, and direct outreach.
- Conduct comprehensive candidate interviews and evaluate skills, experience, industry knowledge, career objectives, and organizational fit.
- Prepare candidate assessments and recommendations for hiring managers.
- Build talent pipelines for recurring and anticipated hiring needs.
- Coordinate interviews and manage communication between candidates and hiring teams.
- Assist with offer development, candidate closing, and acceptance.
- Maintain accurate and timely recruiting information within the client's applicant tracking system.
- Provide hiring managers with market intelligence regarding candidate availability, compensation, competitive hiring trends, and recruiting challenges.
- Deliver a consistent and professional candidate experience.
- Ensure recruiting activities are conducted in accordance with client policies, applicable employment laws, and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional recruiting experience.
- Previous recruiting experience within financial services, banking, wealth management, investment management, insurance, fintech, or a related industry strongly preferred.
- Experience recruiting across multiple professional disciplines.
- Demonstrated success sourcing and engaging passive candidates.
- Strong candidate interviewing and assessment skills.
- Ability to develop effective partnerships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and sourcing tools.
- Understanding of recruiting practices within a regulated financial services environment is preferred.
Pay Rate: $50.00-$60.00/Hour.
