The Financial Systems Analyst supports the Corporate Services financial technology environment centered on Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and the reporting ecosystem built around SQL server and Power BI. This position is responsible for technology integration of all financial management and accounting systems to ensure efficient operations and minimal disruption in daily business, and effective troubleshooting of financial processes. The Analyst collaborates closely with Data Engineering, Finance and Accounting stakeholders, D365 developer and the reporting team to enhance system functionality, support reporting solutions and ensure that financial data and reporting accurately reflect business requirements. The successful candidate will possess deep knowledge of financial business systems and processes, a strong understanding of available technology solutions and a critical eye for improvements & automation.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage, monitor and provide technical support for financial systems, including 3rd party tool integrations, patches and upgrades.
  • Serve as a technical liaison to internal technology teams and 3rd party vendors in support of financial systems.
  • Be the technical subject matter expert & technical administrator as needed for financial systems.
  • Provide system administration activities such as configuration, API components, integrations, and reporting functions.
  • Partner with business owners to define requirements and configure or customize systems to improve efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain documentation including process workflows, data and systems diagrams, support documentation, and audit-ready artifacts.
  • Evaluate financial systems to identify improvement opportunities both operationally and financially and test and validate enhancements before production deployment.
  • Collaborate with source system owners to understand changes impacting financial systems and/or processes.
  • Support the corporate Financial Data Repository by understanding data, ensuring accuracy of dashboards, reporting and ad hoc analytics.
  • Participate in acquisition due diligence related to system integrations, cost assessment and capability requirements.
  • Build and maintain reports for Finance and business stakeholders; perform data analysis and provide troubleshooting support.
  • Provide training, system support and assist with role management, permissions and system controls.
  • Provide occasional after-hours support as needed for code deployment or critical updates.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, accounting, or other related field.
  • 5+ years as a Financial Systems Analyst or similar financial technical role required
  • Experience with the general ledger and accounting systems.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics; proficient in customization, configuration and development within MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
  • Highly organized with the ability to coordinate project tasks.
  • Experience with cloud software.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and organization skills
Preferred:
  • Prior experience working in a mid-to-large size company preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Concur.
  • Familiar with ETL
  • SQL skill
