Job Summary
The Michigan Medicine Financial Systems team provides the leadership, oversight, and technical support for the suite of financial products, applications and datasets used by the Finance Organization of Michigan Medicine for financial reporting, planning, analytics, and decision making. The team is responsible for delivering on-time enterprise-level reporting and business intelligence systems, managing concurrent high-visibility projects to support new initiatives, guiding data stewardship, and informing and supporting institutional enterprise objectives.
The Vizient team focuses on administration, submissions, and data integrity for the Vizient Benchmarking management reporting, planning, analytics and decision-making of the Michigan Medicine Finance Organization.
The Financial Systems Vizient Manager is responsible for overseeing the data submissions and ensuring the integrity of the Vizient Benchmarking application. This role works closely with Financial Systems leadership to align benchmarking data with high-visibility financial and business intelligence applications in a fast-paced, multi-division environment. The manager leads the Vizient team in quarterly data submissions, monthly benchmark trend reporting, and change management efforts, in addition to supporting ad hoc reporting and development initiatives. This role also supports the senior finance leadership to enable effective use of peer benchmarking analytics and to operationalize the governance model required to sustain these capabilities.
In performing the role, you will work closely with key stakeholders to understand operational, analytics, and reporting requirements and translate those into technical solutions to support the benchmarking submissions. Ideal candidates are adaptable and willing to tackle a variety of tasks to improve the operational efficiency of our technology stack, benchmarking capabilities and datasets, functioning with a high degree of independence and minimal day-to-day supervision to complete submissions and deliver projects in a timely and effective manner.

Background Screening
