Position Summary:
Financial Wellness Ambassadors are trained on several major aspects of personal financial wellness - budgeting, goal setting, banking terminology, and learning about campus and community resources to support students. Financial Wellness Ambassadors will assist with financial wellness presentations in campus classes, aid students in creating a budget, and offer insights on use of free financial wellness learning modules provided by Azura Credit Union through the Banzai platform.

-Communication: Conduct presentations, meet with students 1-on-1 to discuss budgeting, facilitate Banzai online learning modules for students.

Essential Functions:
-Facilitate financial wellness presentations in WU101 classes.
-Meet with students one-on-one, providing guidance on basics of budget development, financial goal setting, and assist with use of Banzai platform.
-Work with Azura Credit Union's personnel to create engaging activities for students.
-Promote Banzai, financial wellness platform, to assist students with growth of personal financial wellbeing.
-Record interactions with students and presentations.
-Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
-Must be enrolled full-time at Washburn University and in good academic standing.
-Must maintain a cumulative collegiate GPA of at least 2.75.
-Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
-Possess significant attention to detail.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality.
-Willingness to deliver exceptional customer service - a significant level of trust and diplomacy is required.
-Proficiency with PC/standard technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Preferred major in Accounting, Education, Finance, General Business or Management.
-Preference for students that have completed at least 24 credit hours with at least one semester of course work on the Washburn University campus.
