Financial Wellness Educator

As ourFinancial Wellness Educator, you will:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive financial wellness and enrichment programs tailored for employees, partner Select Employee Groups (SEGs), and community members from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Produce high-quality instructional materials, including training manuals, scripts, workbooks, and interactive audio-visual aids.
  • Deliver engaging educational sessions across various formats, small workshops, and large-group presentations.
  • Develop and administer pre- and post-educational assessments to track knowledge retention and demonstrate program ROI.
  • Curate and maintain a robust Training Resource library, ensuring all multimedia and printed content is current and accessible.
  • Manage organized record-keeping, data entry, and file maintenance to ensure seamless program administration.
  • Coordinate and direct all training schedules and logistics for internal and external events.
  • Represent the Credit Union as a subject matter expert in interactions with consultants, trade professionals, community leaders, and SEG partner groups.
  • Resolve inquiries and challenges from members and partners with professional urgency and courtesy.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring the Credit Union's professional reputation is consistently upheld in all public and private forums.
  • Assist branches and business units with training resources and regular program updates.
  • Keep Senior Management informed of outreach milestones, training successes, and any significant operational hurdles
  • Complete all required reporting and maintain meticulous records of program attendance and engagement metrics.
  • Attend and contribute to internal meetings and organizational committees as required.
  • Research and write articles and digital content to supplement the financial wellness curriculum.
  • Stay current on emerging financial literacy trends, educational technology, and industry-specific issues.
  • Support the Business Development and Marketing teams with the planning and execution of large-scale community events.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Finance, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 3–5 years of proven success in teaching, curriculum development, and program management.Understanding of Credit Union operations, products, and financial wellness technology.
  • Exceptional public speaking and classroom management skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred.
