Finish Carpenter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Finish Carpenters for projects located in the Eugene, OR area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $30-38/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:          

• Install and adjust cabinets, vanities, and built-in shelving
  
• Measure, cut, and install baseboards, crown molding, casing, wainscoting, and other trim
  
• Hang, level, and trim doors and windows
  
• Perform finish carpentry on restoration and remodeling projects
  
• Perform rough carpentry and framing as needed
  
• Complete restoration, remodeling, and reconstruction work
  
• Read and work from blueprints and project plans
  
• Calculate material and supply requirements
  
• Safely operate carpentry hand and power tools
  
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
  
• Communicate project requirements and progress with the team
  
• Maintain a high standard of quality and craftsmanship

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience
• Strong finish carpentry experience
• Must pass a drug screen, and background check
• Well-rounded residential construction knowledge
• Experience with cabinets, doors, windows, trim, and molding
• Ability and willingness to perform occasional rough carpentry
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
• Ability to read blueprints and project plans
• Knowledge of building codes, trade sequencing, and construction best practices
• Strong attention to detail and finish quality
