Finish Coordinator - 100

Position Description

Coordinates the movement of purchased and manufactured materials through the finishing department to meet the assembly production schedule.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinates and prioritizes work activities of assigned Finish Laborers to ensure correct parts are painted and packaged for Assembly.
• Coordinates flow of materials from weld and off site locations as well as shortage and rework items to ensure correct quantities are sent to assigned assembly line locations.
• Maintains accurate inventory records; corrects variances from scheduled cycle counts.
• Ensures established safe operating procedures are routinely practiced by all Finish Laborers.
• Implements visual inventory controls such as but not limited to: signage, containers, push carts, etc. and material handling equipment for continuous improvement opportunities
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

• Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills
• Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education

High School diploma

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 2 year experience in a manufacturing and/or inventory control environment

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Some physical demand; often lifts light weight material. Rarely lifting/moving average weight (25-50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.

Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)

Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
