A day in this role

You start your shift by reviewing requisitions and IMS orders. With a pick list in hand, you pull finished signage and products, verify part numbers, promotions, and quantities, and stage items for delivery. You compare printed images to stock size and confirm accuracy against inventory records and customer-supplied GTR’s. If you spot shortages, damage, or mismatches, you alert the right people immediately and document what you find.

Throughout the day, you tag and put away new receipts and overage in the correct racks by customer, maintain up-to-date records and files, and handle routine correspondence. You cycle count regularly—especially signage with fewer than 10 pieces on hand—bringing counts down to the last sign. You’ll send Box approvals, issue IMS shortage emails when needed, and complete debits after pulling GTR’s.

Customers sometimes purchase overage; when that happens, you enter the new signage into inventory. You respond to special requests from Account Managers and monitor Asset Manager for customer inquiries. You also operate bailing machines, compactors, and hand tools, help keep the finished goods and staging areas clean, remove trash, and assist other departments as needed. If something’s missing from overage, you track it down and resolve the issue.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Pulling requisitioned finished goods accurately and on time
• Receiving and inspecting finished signage; verifying counts and correctness against customer-supplied GTR’s
• Tagging, storing, and maintaining inventory control for all finished products
• Performing inventory prep and cycle counts (with priority on items <10 on hand)
• Verifying printed image to stock size
• Processing IMS orders; validating part numbers, promotions, and quantities
• Sending Box approvals and IMS shortage emails
• Pulling GTR’s and completing debits promptly
• Relocating customer-supplied signage to the correct finished goods area
• Putting away new inventory and overage quickly and accurately
• Handling re-ship orders with precision and speed
• Ensuring all overage is tagged and stored in the right rack by customer
• Fielding special requests from Account Managers
• Monitoring Asset Manager for customer requests
• Investigating and resolving missing signage from overage
• Entering new signage into inventory when customers purchase overage
• Operating bailing machines, compactors, and hand tools safely
• Keeping staging and warehouse areas clean and assisting other departments as needed
• Escalating issues to your supervisor or warehouse manager
