Finishing Technician / Laser Marking Operator
Location: Mansfield, MA
Duration: 6-Month Contract

Seeking a detail-oriented Finishing Technician to work with surgical instruments in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include laser marking, finishing, inspection, and measuring parts to ensure quality standards are met.

Duration: 6-Month Contract
Pay Rate:
- $20.00/hour
- 2nd Shift: +$0.85/hour differential
- 3rd Shift: +$1.05/hour differential
- 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM
Seeking a detail-oriented Finishing Technician to work with surgical instruments in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include laser marking, finishing, inspection, and measuring parts to ensure quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload surgical instruments into laser marking machines.
- Perform finishing work such as polishing, grinding, deburring, and buffing.
- Inspect parts for defects and quality issues.
- Use measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and video measurement systems.
- Read blueprints and follow work instructions.
- Complete required documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2–4 years of manufacturing, machining, inspection, or related experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
