The Finishing Operations team is responsible for producing high-quality finished products by operating a variety of bindery and lettershop equipment while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate finishing equipment according to job specifications.
• Read and interpret job tickets to ensure accurate production.
• Operate equipment used for:
  • Cutting
  • Folding
  • Die cutting
  • Saddle stitching
  • Drilling
  • Padding
  • Scoring
  • Lettershop and inserting operations
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain production goals while minimizing waste.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, machine operator, bindery, or production experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn production equipment.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and job tickets.
• Basic math skills, including decimals and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
