    Finishing Supervisor

    LOCATION: Koppel - Pennsylvania - USA

    DEPARTMENT: INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS

    Purpose

    Lead and supervise hourly personnel during the assigned shift in the Finishing line. Ensure Safe, efficient execution of the finishing and inspection process. The role seeks to meet production targets and quality standards while fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountability.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Lead and coordinate hourly workforce activities across heat treatment and finishing processes, including task assignment, schedule management, and resolution of operational issues, ensuring compliance with production plans, procedures, and quality standards.
    • Motivate, coach, and develop hourly personnel; manage attendance, discipline, and other HR-related activities in line with company policies.
    • Monitor operations, track key performance indicators (productivity, utilization, downtime, rejection rates), identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to driving process improvements and work instruction development.
    • Ensure execution of preventive maintenance and inspection plans.
    • Enforce HSE standards, report incidents, conduct inspections, and maintain updated risk assessments with preventive/corrective measures.
    • Manage resource efficiency, protect equipment and facilities, and meet energy consumption targets.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leader role within a production environment with proven leadership experience.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Adaptable and Goal oriented with persistent mind set.

    Preferred

    • Knowledge of API 5CT, ISO9001, API Q1, ISO 20431
    • Familiarity of UV Coating Technologies, NDT EMI
    • Lean/CI exposure (root cause, 5-Why, downtime reduction, standard work).
    • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
