Role Summary

• Responsible for managing and optimizing cloud financial operations across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Analyze cloud spending, consumption, resource utilization, and financial performance.
• Develop and maintain cloud cost allocation, chargeback, and showback models.
• Establish FinOps governance, financial controls, and cost optimization strategies.
• Partner with engineering, operations, architecture, and business teams to identify cloud cost-saving opportunities.
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives through financial modeling and cost analysis.
• Provide executive-level dashboards, reports, KPIs, and recommendations for continuous optimization.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Financial Management / FinOps.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, monitor, and optimize cloud spending across Azure and GCP environments.
• Develop and maintain cloud cost allocation, chargeback, and showback models.
• Implement cloud financial governance policies, standards, and cost controls.
• Manage Azure Cost Management and implement optimization recommendations.
• Manage Azure Reservations and Savings Plans.
• Monitor GCP cloud consumption, committed use discounts, and resource utilization.
• Identify opportunities to optimize cloud consumption and reduce unnecessary spending.
• Create cloud spend dashboards and executive reports using Apptio and cloud-native FinOps tools.
• Establish financial performance metrics and FinOps KPIs.
• Partner with engineering, operations, architecture, and business teams to identify cost optimization opportunities.

Cloud IAM & Security Integration

• Experience integrating Azure-hosted applications with enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms.
