Fintech Legal Director

Legal DirectorLocation: Pittsburgh, PA, United StatesType: Full-Time Contractor (Remote)OverviewWe are seeking a Legal Director to establish and lead the company's legal function. What Youll DoCommercial Contracts- Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise and institutional contracts, including SaaS, licensing, data-sharing, and tokenization agreements.- Create and maintain contract templates and playbooks to support scalable business operations.- Execute contract signatures with multiple stakeholders.Compliance, Regulatory & Commercial Oversight- Lead the company's compliance function, covering financial services, tokenization, payments, data privacy, and cybersecurity.- Monitor and interpret evolving U.S. and international regulations impacting fintech and blockchain operations.- Engage with regulators, auditors, and external counsel to manage filings, audits, or inquiries.- Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise and institutional contracts, including SaaS, licensing, tokenization, and data-sharing agreements.- Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and scalable processes to support business operations.Qualifications & Experience- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.- Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.- 3 years of legal experience, including substantial in-house experience in technology or fintech sectors.- Proven experience in corporate law and commercial contracts.- Strong working knowledge of fintech, blockchain, tokenization, and digital asset regulations.We are committed to providing equal opportunity for qualified applicants to contract positions, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
