Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
1. Practical End to End Implementation experience with:
" SAP Fioneer FPSL (Banking context)
" FPSL Data Model, Data Mapping
" Accounting
" SAP S/4HANA Finance integration
2. Strong understanding of:
" Banking products accounting
" Event based / transaction based accounting concepts
3. Good working knowledge of:
" IFRS 9 fundamentals (implementation perspective)
4. Analytical and problem solving mindset
5. Ability to work under guidance of Finance Lead / Architect
6. Clear communication with Finance Business and IT stakeholders
7. Good to SAP S/4HANA ABAP Skills

Roles & Responsibilities
1. FPSL Functional Configuration (Banking)
" Configure FPSL objects for banking products including but not limited to:
u Loans and advances, Deposits, Money market instruments, Securities / bonds (if in scope)
" Implement FPSL components:
u Contract types and contract attributes
u Event types and event processing
u Posting schemas and accounting determinations
u Data Model and Data Mapping
u SDL, DLL, RDL,
" Support setup of:
u Subledger accounting layers/ sub-ledger postings
u Accounting principles / ledgers
u Accounting treatment/accounting entries
u Valuation areas

2. Accounting & IFRS 9 Support
" Implement FPSL accounting logic aligned to:
u IFRS 9 classification (AC / FVOCI / FVTPL)
u Effective Interest Rate (EIR) based accruals
u Fee and charge handling
" Support postings related to:
u Initial recognition
u Accruals and amortization
u Derecognition events
" Assist Finance Lead/Architect in validating:
u Accounting outcomes
u

Posting results at contract and GL level

3. Integration Support (Source Systems & S/4HANA)
" Support inbound integration from:
u Core banking systems
u Treasury / trading platforms
" Assist with:
u Event payload validation
u Attribute mappings and enrichments
" Support outbound integration to:
u SAP S/4HANA Universal Journal
" Validate:
u Document splitting
u GL account derivations
u Posting completeness and consistency

4. Testing, Reconciliation & Defect Resolution
" Execute and support:
u Unit Testing (UT)
u System Integration Testing (SIT)
u User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
" Perform and support reconciliations:
u Source system vs FPSL
u FPSL subledger vs SAP GL
" Analyze and resolve:
u Posting errors
u Accounting mismatches
u Integration defects
" Support parallel run activities with legacy subledgers

" Prepare functional deliverables including:
u Configuration documents
u Test scripts and test evidence
u Mapping and reconciliation documents
" Support:
u Knowledge transfer to client teams
u Go live readiness and hypercare activities
