TradeSTAR is partnering with leading low voltage contractors in the Austin area who are looking for dependable Fire Alarm Helpers to join their teams and grow in the life safety industry.
What You ll Do:
-Pull fire alarm cable through J-hooks, bridle rings, and conduit
-Assist with installation of devices like smoke detectors, pull stations, and horn/strobes
-Support basic terminations and device mounting
-Use hand tools and learn to operate testing equipment like a volt-ohm meter
-Help with system testing and troubleshooting
-Follow safety standards and job site requirements
Who You Are:
-0 2 years of low voltage or construction experience preferred
-Basic understanding of hand tools and job site safety
-Interest in fire alarm systems and life safety work
-Willingness to learn NFPA standards and industry practices
-Reliable transportation and consistent work ethic
-Able to work on commercial construction sites
