Therefore LIFE SAFETY IS OUR BUSINESS as such we promise to be the trusted leader in fire protection delivering the highest quality life safety solutions with commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.JOB DESCRIPTIONFire Alarm InspectorTheFire AlarmInspectoris responsible fortesting and inspection of fire and life safety systems including but not limited to fire alarmsand specialhazardsfire protection systems. The Inspector will provideaccurateand detailedinspectionsreports with all proper documentation of improvements and complications and assistin selling IFP services for any identified deficiencies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure customers are serviced at the highest level of satisfaction through quality courteous service and by applying experienceknowledgeand training.Thoroughly complete inspectionsinatimely manneras scheduled and interface withInspectionCoordinator to ensure that the customer receives the work per proposed scope.Working knowledge of alarm panelsdevicesand critical components.Willingto coordinate between inspection deficiencies and servicerequiredto correct found deficienciesPerform routine inspections testing installingservicesand preventative maintenance of life safety product linesUtilizes an online scheduling calendar to receive and understand the individual scheduled tasks customer locations andmaintainother company documents asrequiredtimesheets safety audits etc..Maintain positive customer relationships and review inspection results withcustomers.Turn in required paperworkin a timely manner.Maintain equipmentsuppliesand companyvehiclesif supplied ingood workingorder.Study and learn NFPA standards for the inspection and testing of fire protection systems. Stay current with code requirements industry changes and obtain NICET certifications.Perform other related duties as assigned.JOB QUALIFICATIONSAny trade experience is a plus at least 2 years trade experiencerequired.State ofGeorgia certsrequiredNICET LevelIII or IIIrequiredinfire alarmtest and inspections dependent on state requirementGood verbal written communication and customer service skills.Mechanical & math aptitude.Exceptional computer skills professional and organized.Previousexperience in the fire protection industry preferred.Valid state Drivers Licenserequired.Willing to pass post-offer drug screenreferenceand background checkEDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalentA minimum of 2 years of experience in fire alarm inspection testing maintenance and installation isrequired.NICET Certification ispreferred.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTIndustrial Commercial & Residential building environment with moderate to high noise levels and comfort with working at heights.Mostly aphysicaldemanding role.Regular bending reachingclimbingand walking.May need to lift objects up to 50 pounds.Ability to be on the phone and computer consistently throughout the day.Compensation & BenefitsThis role will be based out of our Austell GA branch.
