Fire Alarm Installer

Century Fire Protection is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Installer to install, program, and test fire alarm systems according to project drawings, specifications, and applicable codes. This is a hands-on opportunity to build your skills while installing systems that protect people and property.

️ What You'll Do

• Read and interpret fire alarm and electrical drawings and specifications.
• Review drawings and verify job materials and parts.
• Install and program fire alarm control panels and related equipment.
• Install devices, conduit, and wiring according to design drawings and applicable codes.
• Drill, route, and install cabling in areas including crawlspaces and attics.
• Troubleshoot system issues and test devices and components for proper operation.
• Perform final acceptance testing with the AHJ.
• Complete reports and documentation required to certify system installation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fire alarm and/or low-voltage installation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to work safely and efficiently in a variety of job site environments.
