This position will report to the Fire Alarm Manager. The Technician will be responsible for providing inspections and service on a variety of fire alarm system devices in a professional and timely manner. The Technician will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals. The Technician will work with the Company to obtain local city listing agents. The Technician is also responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for his/herself, co-workers and customers./ppJob Responsibilities:/pulliManage their time to complete the maximum amount of service and inspections while maintaining a high level of quality./liliAchieve any weekly productivity goals assigned by the Fire Alarm Manager or designated Agent./liliLearn applicable fire protection codes and obtain applicable state licensing./liliProtect and maintain company equipment./liliWork in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including the driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies./liliMaintain their vehicle in accordance with company procedures and ensure it is clean and organized./liliPerform any other tasks assigned by the Fire Alarm Manager or Agent./li/ulpJob Qualifications:/pulliApplicable licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes./liliTexas Fire Alarm (FAL) is required./liliAbility to learn applicable installation, inspection, and servicing codes./liliAbility to participate in on-call rotation./liliA strong work ethic and professional appearance./liliExcellent communications, and customer service skills./liliPossess a valid drivers license and driving record that meets company requirements./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliApplicable experience either in the fire protection industry or the commercial customer service business in some capacity./liliA fire alarm systems background or a background working as a licensed electrician./liliAbility and willingness to obtain NICET and other trade specific certifications./li/ulpSuccessful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
