Description

We are partnered with a well-established and highly respected security and life safety systems contractor who is actively seeking a skilled Alarm Technician to join their growing team! This company prides itself on supporting employee growth and fostering an outstanding work environment.

Fire Alarm Technician Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience installing and servicing alarm and security systems
  • Knowledge of alarm system components, wiring, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with industry standards and local codes (e.g., NFPA, UL)
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • FAL, NICET preferred
  • Ability to travel to job sites and attend client meetings as needed

Fire Alarm Technician Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and maintain alarm and security systems in residential and commercial settings
  • Diagnose and repair system malfunctions and perform routine maintenance
  • Complete accurate service documentation and reports
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards and industry regulations
