Fire Alarm Technician

We are currently seeking a Low Voltage/Security Installer for commercial security systems including Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm, and Intrusion. Must have electrical/ low voltage experience!!! Must be able to pull cable, bend a little pipe in commercial environments while maintaining professional work ethic, keeping job site clean and neat while MOST IMPORTANTLY maintaining a positive attitude!

2. " While we are looking for a trained technician we are in the market for anyone with a structured cabling background as well "

Responsibilities:

• Install and repair low voltage Fire Alarm and Security equipment and fixtures
• Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
• Troubleshoot motor and control systems
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes
• Some night work may be necessary on certain projects but is not normal.

​​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Low Voltage installations of Fiber , Cat 5-6 , Coax, Multi-conductor, Etc.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals a MUST
• Familiarity with electrical equipment, hand tools, and knowledge of proper cable pulling methods.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Clean driving record, Clean background, Clean drug test
• Good work ethic, Works well with others, Willing to travel in NC and SC when need be (25%)
