UCH is actively seeking a
Fire Alarm Technician to join our team!
This position will support our Property Management Portfolio across Greater Philadelphia.
Each day will vary. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Install, program, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems
- Perform system testing and inspections to ensure proper functionality
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate installations
- Diagnose system issues and complete necessary repairs promptly
- Install and route low-voltage wiring for system integration
- Stay current on industry technology, equipment, and procedures
Ideal Candidate Profile: - Previous Fire Alarm experience
- NICET Fire Alarm Systems Level 1 Certification
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to be a team player who can work independently with minor supervision as well as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize urgent projects and work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment
- Strong levels of communication (both written and spoken English)
- A valid driver's license and vehicle
- Must be comfortable with heights and ladders
- Able to work non-traditional hours in the event of emergency
- Ability to travel throughout Greater Philadelphia
